​Amy was born in Schaumburg, IL and began her career in Chicago, IL.

On stage, Amy has worked with companies in Chicago and Los Angeles including Sacred Fools, Northlight Theatre, Victory Gardens, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and TimeLine Theatre Company.

You can catch Amy playing with her kids, making up rap songs about her dog Roscoe, and frequenting public libraries with her most prized possession: her library card (on which she once narrowly escaped $96.00 in fines...).

The way to Amy's heart is always Double Stuf Oreos (never, ever single stuf) and jigsaw puzzles.
