I spent last Friday on set with an amazing crew from DePaul for the MFA short film "There Is No Door". From writer/director Ward Crockett, "There Is No Door" explores themes of depression, suicide, and family secrets through the eyes of Sam. I play Sam as an adult, bringing her daughter to her childhood home for the first time in many years. I got to work with the adorable Sabrina Smith, who played my young daughter Hannah. Thanks to Ward, producer Amy Baker, DP Eric Liberacki, 1st AD Danny Farber, and especially Stedy Cam Op Blaine Baker who expertly chased me up a flight of stairs many times that day!
